My Background

Sport has always been a huge part of my life. I started with playing rugby league from 5 years old and from 8 i was practicing judo too. I was a part of the St Helens RLFC Scholarship Scheme up until 15 and played some reserve grade rugby at the Widnes Vikings up until 17.

At 18 years old i left home to become a full time Judo athlete and 10 years later i retired after having a pretty successful career which included, 6 British titles, 10 World cup medals, 4 European Cup medals and the 2014 -81kg Commonwealth Games title in Glasgow, Scotland.

I am now currently Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Hull Kr in the Super League, Judo Coach at Combat Base, Hull and Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Fight Ministry, Hull. I am also studying a MSc in S and C at St Mary’s University, London.

Having been an athlete myself and now sitting on the other side of the fence, i believe i have a great understanding of how to get the best out of people as well as knowing the demands required within different sports, in order to perform at the highest levels. I take massive satisfaction from helping people improve and achieve their goals, no matter what their level, beginner or professional.

I have created this website to be an easy and affordable way for people to gain quality training which will help them hit their goals, whether that be within their lifestyle or within their sporting careers. I will support you with this all the way.

Please, if you wish to get started or you just want some more information, do not hesitate to get in touch. Thank you.
